The fifth edition of Primavera Pro Startups, the international investment forum of the music industry organised by Primavera Pro and Seed&Click, unfolds the lucky finalists. The five selected startups will present their projects on 31st May at 3:00 pm in the CCCB, during a day of exclusive activities within the Primavera Pro 2018 programme.
The objective of Primavera Pro Startups is to boost entrepreneurial initiatives, to promote national and foreign investment and encourage commercial transactions and innovation in the music industry.

The criteria for the selection of the Startups finalists focused on their innovation potential, their viability, their social impact, the experience and attitude of their management teams, as well as their capacity to communicate and the majority are startups created in 2016 and are related to the media and entertainment, software and education sectors.
The jury members of Primavera Pro Startups 2018 are Enric Jové (McCann Worldgroup), Javier Blázquez (Baker McKenzie), Almudena Heredero (Primavera Pro), Marta Fernández (4YFN), G. Thomas Esmay (Singular DTV), Jose Herrera (AEBAN), David Cerqueda (Grupo Godó), Susanne Franz (SEAT), Félix Barros (MUSTACH Chile), Emilien Moyon (Berklee College of Music) and Steve Mayall (Music Ally). They will evaluate the five finalists and choose the winning project (which will receive a prize valued at 120,000€) at the end of the event.
PRIMAVERA PRO STARTUPS 2018 PROGRAMME
The finalists of the fifth edition of the forum will be presented during a day of events that will also include related activities. First of all, Susanne Franz (CMO Global at SEAT), as keynote speaker, will talk about the relation between the brand and the next generation of car drivers thanks to music and innovation.
This will be followed by the presentation of the five selected finalist projects, each of which will give their “elevator pitch” to the jury of experts, investors and members of the audience attending the final competition.
After the pitching session we will enjoy the keynote speaking of Alex Puig (CEO at Alastria Blockchain), one of the greatest experts in blockchain in Spain, who will talk about self-sovereign identity and how it can help to the artists life.
Then, a discussion panel will take place with the participation of Kevin Bacon (CEO at Blockpool), G. Thomas Esmay (Business Development Manager at Singular DTV) and Allen Bargfrede (CLO at Dot Blockchain Media), who will bring their unique views of the state of the blockchain technology and its impact in the music tech industry. They will be accompanied by Steve Mayall (Managing Director at Music Ally) who will moderate this panel.
And finally, the key moment will arrive when the winning project of Primavera Pro Startups 2018 will be announced, along with the winner of the audience award (which will be decided on Seed&Click social networks).
