Enric is currently CEO of McCann WG Barcelona and CIO of McCann WG Spain. He created the McCann Teammates division that manages social networks athletes like Rafael Nadal, Pau Gasol, Leo Messi, Carles Puyol, Iker Casillas and Alberto Contador and others.


During his career he has managed communication campaigns for brands like Nespresso, Nike, Desigual, Inditex, Puig, Nescafe, Barclays

and FC Barcelona.             Since 1999, he is professor at ESIC Business School, Director of Digital Area and he created the Master in Digital Business in 2011. In this same chapter, Enric Jové is a regular speaker at conferences in the world of marketing and communication, in recent years he has participated in Future of Advertising, Today is Marketing, Biz Barcelona, Mobile World Congress, Sonar or SIM among others.

Manager of Rafael Nadal

Carlos Costa was a former professional tennis player from Spain. He was among the game’s leading clay court players in the early 1990s.


Carlos turned professional in 1988. Carlos was Conde The Godo Open winner and also runner-up at the 1992 Italian Open, he also reached the fourth round at that year’s French Open and US Open. In May 

1992, he reached his career-high singles ranking of World No. 10.

Carlos is the agent for Rafael Nadal since he became professional and the one who successfully managed his sponsors during the last decade. We worked for IMG as agent during a decade managing some other top ten tennis players.

Chairman of Laureus Foundation Spain

Gabriel Masfurroll is a pioneer in the field of private hospital networks in southern Europe, with the creation of USP Hospitales in 1997, a company of which he was founder, CEO and Chairman of the Board of Directors until 2010. Since December 2014, he has acquired 90% shares of Institut Tres Torres, one of the most prestigious hospitals in Spain and is the Chairman of the Administration Board.

He is also entrepreneur and owner of 20 companies in the field of health, nutrition, sport and technologies. Gabriel is entrepreneur in Résidence at IESE and Chairman of true Board of Trustees in UAB.


In the field of sport and management, Gabriel was high competition swimmer and member of the Spanish National Team in the 70’s, a member of the Board of FC Barcelona and later Vice President of the club, Chairman of the Advisory Board of the NFL in Spain and member of the Board of Sport Cultura BCN.


Within the world of non-profit institutions, Gabriel participated in the creation of the Catalan Foundation for Down syndrome, is President of Fundación Alex and Chairman of Laureus Foundation Spain.

Head of Design and Innovation – Gatorade

He joined Gatorade in February 2011; in his Gatorade role, Xavi is in charge of leading and creating the vision and development of Gatorade and Propel Innovation and their expansion into technology platforms. Xavi leads also the Brand Design team in the transformation of the brand towards a Global Sports Nutrition Brand across the different consumer touch points including retail theatre, retail POS, packaging, build-outs, etc

Xavi was born in Barcelona where he earned a degree in Architecture. He has a strong sports performance and design background stemming from his 11 years of experience with Nike. His last job leading Nike Retail in Brazil where he developed the Retail Strategy towards 2016 Olympics and 2014 World Cup. Previously Xavi also led Nike’s Retail Team in Mexico and Spain. Before joining Nike, Xavi spent two years in Mango as an Architect designing stores around the globe.


A passionate sports enthusiast, Xavi enjoys triathlon, running, skiing, surfing, and diving. In addition, he plays soccer and is an avid fan of FC Barcelona.

Partner Responsible for Sports – Deloitte

Fernando has developed his career in the area of Leisure, Entertainment and Sports of Deloitte since 1990 and is currently Partner Responsible for Sports and eSports at Deloitte.


He specialises in the preparation of business plans, implementation of internal control models and implementation of technology and security solutions in the Catering, Hospitality, Tourism and Leisure sectors. Also in Compliance and Security Offices in First Division 

Soccer Clubs. He has extensive national and international experience having worked in the offices of Madrid, Barcelona, Chicago and New York.


He holds a degree in Computer Engineering from the Universidad Pontificia de Comillas (ICAI) and has completed the IESE Senior Management Program (PADE) and the CENEI (Computer Audit Master).

Jan is a Senior Consultant, Content Producer and Promotion Specialist with over 16 years experience across international markets.

He is currently the Director of The World Football Summit, the premier event on the football industry held in Spain, a meeting point for professionals, companies and institutions; the movers and shakers shaping the future of this growing sector as an economic

 force in the world.

He is also the Founder & COO of Nexus, a company that provides integrated and effective communication platforms that promote business engagement and foster international relations between Spain and the world.


He has worked in Latin America, Europe, Africa and the Middle East identifying and building partnerships at the highest level of foreign governments and the private sector, organizing high profile events, negotiating and closing commercial deals, producing branded content, managing global media projects and leading commercial teams.

General Manager Global Sports Innovation Center – Microsoft

Born in Buenos Aires in 1975, Iris has a Law degree from the University of Buenos Aires, Master in Management and Public Policy from the University of Alcalá-INAP, and Master in Digital Economy at Escuela de Organización Industrial. She also has the research-doctorate in Applied Economics from the University of Alcalá de Henares.

She has developed her professional career linked to enterprise development and the support of SMEs from the public and private side, with special focus on culture sector, Spanish language-related economy, entertainment and sports industry, both in Latam and in Spain. She is currently the General Manager at the Global Sports Innovation Center in Madrid.


Iris put into operation and directed for 6 years the Spanish Language Platform, an innovative nonprofit association that fosters the Spanish language as an economic resource and promotes entrepreneurship in culture sector.

Director of Technology and Innovation – US Olympic Committee

Mounir Zok is the Director of Technology and Innovation for the U.S. Olympic Committee and brings emerging technologies to Team USA. He sets up and runs these technologies to increase the medalling chances of the Team US


A athletes in the Olympic and Paralympic games.

He is always dealing with innovative topics and supports Design Thinking and Lean Startup methodologies. For this reason he is also Executive Advisor at PodiumSV, an early stage venture capital fund, startup accelerator and global community across sports technology, media and entertainment, based in Silicon Valley.

Strategic Planning & Innovation Director – FC Barcelona

Javier Sobrino Graduated in Law and Administration, and Business Administration (ADE) from Universidad Pontificia Comillas, and worked for eight years in the consulting firm Accenture. Between 2006 and 2008 he was an executive in the area of planning and strategy for Western Europe in Barclays Bank, and then spent a year as director of operations for the Madrid 2016 Olympic bid. In 2009 he created the consultancy group  Sport and Strategy where he has worked and given 

advice to organisations such as the Spanish Basketball Federation (FEB) with the 2014 World Cup; 

The Royal Spanish Football Federation (RFEF) with its plan to internationalise schools; The Iberian candidacy to the World Cup of 2018 and 2022, and Go Fit in the definition of its operational model.


He is Currently the Strategic Planning & Innovation Director for Football Club Barcelonaand has the role of defining FC Barcelonas 2015-2021 Strategic Plan. Javier Sobrino has to watch over the fulfillment of a project that contemplates that Barça reaches a turnover of 1 billion euros at the close of the campaign 2020-2021. Among the planned initiatives is the inauguration of the Espai Barça, as well as the creation of franchises of indoor football and women football in the United States.

Director of the Johan Cruyff Institute – Barcelona

Since 2014, as Director of the Cruyff Institute in Barcelona, Muriël has been a core member of the Global Management Team, responsible for corporate strategy and execution by developing educational programs for sportspeople worldwide at the Johan Cruyff Institute. She has also been responsible for strategic relationships with global stakeholders (academic institutions, sports federations and entities, public administration, companies, international sports associations) enabling talent and knowledge 

transfer, for the best of education within the sports industry.


Muriël also manages the network- and business management of academic institutions worldwide: 5 Cruyff Colleges (Vocational Education), 3 Cruyff Academies (Higher Education) and 5 Cruyff Institutes (Postgraduate and Executive Education).


She has previously been the Associate Director Executive Education of the ESADE Business & Law School, the Academic Director at the Johan Cruyff Institute and Director of Strategy and Business Development at the University Politècnica de Catalunya.
